This position is responsible for evaluating the financial worthiness of accounts across the Region through sound and structured financial analysis. Reporting in to the Credit Risk & Recoveries Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Risk profiling for new and existing customers
• Mentoring two intermediate Credit Analysts
• Analysis of customer financial records to assess trade levels
• Extensive analysis of company statements and financials to assess risk
• Offer financial and analytical support to internal stakeholders when managing credit risk with major clients
• Action matters reported via the early warning risk alert system to minimise bad debts
• Ensure company is compliant with internal controls and external policy requirements

The successful candidate for this opportunity will possess a background in credit risk within the Financial Services or Banking space and display the following:

• Proven ability to read and analyse companies financials
• Proven business partnering skills
• Proficient in Excel
• SAP preferable
